Jana Marie Duggar (built-in January 12, 1990)[1] is an American television personality.[2] She is known for her appearances on TLC as function of the reality television shows nineteen Kids and Counting (2008–2015) and Counting On (2015–2021).

The documentary aired on the Discovery Health Aqueduct. Some other documentary, Raising sixteen Children was produced on the same channel in 2006, when Duggar's sis Johannah was born. On September 29, 2008, 19 Kids and Counting (formerly 18 Kids and Counting and 17 Kids and Counting) began as a regular series based on the Duggar family.[viii] The show ran until its cancellation in 2015.[9]
Another series, Jill & Jessa: Counting On, starring Jessa and her sis Jill, premiered on Dec 13, 2015. Various other family members were featured on the show. It followed the Duggars present lives afterwards 19 Kids and Counting was cancelled.[10] [11] The show was cancelled in 2021 following the arrest of Josh Duggar.

Jana Duggar co-wrote the book Growing Upwards Duggar: Information technology'due south All About Relationships with her sisters Jill, Jessa and Jinger. Information technology was released on March 4, 2014 past Howard Books. The book focuses on life in the Duggar home, their social relationships, and religious beliefs. [12]

In 2021, Jana Duggar was charged with a misdemeanor count of endangering the welfare of a minor; details of the instance were sealed. She was babysitting when a child wandered outside and was institute by a passer-past, who chosen the police.[13] A "not guilty" plea was entered on September 23.[fourteen]
On Dec 14, 2021, Duggar posted a statement to her Instagram account, explaining that she had been babysitting a child who wandered out of the firm when she turned her back "for a moment," that she was never arrested, and that the child welfare department concluded that "information technology was an accident and the child was unharmed."[15] Duggar afterwards changed her plea to guilty and paid an $880 fine and other costs, fugitive a trial and potential jail time.[16] [17]
